The Goose Pear Curtain Incense is one of the great traditional formulas of Chinese aromatic culture. Its name conjures a specific image: the scent drifting softly through silk curtains in a scholar's room, unhurried and thoroughly at home. Burning it is not merely scenting a space. It is an act of setting a mood.

The opening is unmistakably fruit — a clean, clear sweetness like freshly sliced pear flesh, neither too sweet nor sharp. It arrives gently and asks nothing of you.
