This incense uses Oman frankincense resin — drawn from the Dhofar region of the Arabian Peninsula, where Boswellia sacra trees grow in dry, rocky hillside soils and produce a resin of exceptional clarity and depth. The finest grade from this region is known to collectors as the Silver Pearl, named for its pale, luminous color and the purity of the fragrance it carries.

The fragrance of frankincense is layered and unhurried. At room temperature, a subtle presence of pine resin and citrus peel with a faint warm spice. When the stick is lit, the fragrance fully opens: a bright citrus-and-pine top note, cool and clarifying; a warm woody heart carrying smooth cream and a quiet balsamic sweetness; and a long, uplifting finish that lifts the quality of the air in the room. The dry-down has the kind of clarity that only truly old resins produce — clean, elevated, and spacious.
