Kynam Agarwood Bracelet, Mammoth Bone Dog Charm, Turquoise, Adjustable Cord
For the wrist that takes its collector materials seriously but refuses to take itself too seriously — Kynam agarwood, a carved mammoth bone dog, a bone-shaped charm to match, and turquoise, tied adjustable with braided cord.
The agarwood beads are not the standard perfectly round form. These are small irregular-cut beads — tumbled rather than precisely turned, each one slightly different in shape from the next, the rough quality intentional. The Chinese collector-toy (wenwan) tradition values this kind of irregularity: natural material that looks handled and real rather than machine-perfect. The beads are approximately 6 mm diameter, dark warm brown, the grain lines visible across each one's irregular face.
The central accent is a small carved ancient mammoth bone dog — a standing figurine, white, compact, carved in the round with four legs and a recognizable dog body. Mammoth bone is prehistoric material: dense, white, and worked smooth against the rough texture of the agarwood beads around it. The contrast between the rough dark wood and the smooth white bone is the compositional logic of the bracelet.
Accompanying the dog: a bone-shaped charm in the same ancient mammoth bone — the cartoon form of a dog bone, the dog's accessory made literal. A small turquoise disc spacer sits beside the bone pieces, a brief cool blue-green accent between the warm dark beads and the white carved forms. A single decorated accent bead marks the focal arrangement and completes the group of special pieces at the bracelet's center point.
The bracelet closes with a braided cord closure — orange and green twisted cords tied in a sliding knot, the traditional adjustable tie method that fits any wrist size and allows the bracelet to be added or removed without a clasp mechanism. The cords extend in a short tassel below the knot, their own color adding to the piece's visual character.
The agarwood is for the fragrance and the collector-material foundation — the rough irregular beads that identify this as a wenwan piece rather than conventional jewelry. The bone dog is for the personality: the thing that makes this bracelet specific to a sensibility. The turquoise is for the one cool color note that keeps the composition from reading as entirely monochrome.

About Agarwood
Agarwood forms when an aquilaria tree responds to injury by producing a dense, resin-saturated heartwood. The rarer the resin, the deeper the fragrance.
Kynam is the highest grade — soft, oily, complex. Its scent shifts from sweet to floral to woody throughout the day.
