Kynam Agarwood Necklace, Jade, Carnelian, 16mm Focal Bead

The main strand is small 4.5 mm Kynam agarwood rounds, warm brown with natural grain texture, running the full length of the necklace on both sides of the center section. They give the piece its structure: a consistent woody base that the colorful stone section rises from rather than interrupts. The fragrance is continuous throughout the day, present at room temperature without needing heat.

The 16 mm focal bead is for the visual anchor. A single round of Kynam agarwood, the same material as the small strand beads but at a scale that commands attention. Wider than a thumb, it sits at the base of the V where both sides converge, its natural grain visible across the full face. The scale difference between the small rounds above and the single large ball at the drop point is what structures the visual hierarchy of the piece.

The jade is for the spectrum of color. Between the small agarwood rounds and the focal bead, a range of gemstone beads in multiple varieties — apple green jadeite, pink and lavender Nephrite Jade, grey jade — set among ornate carved spacers.
