Kynam Agarwood Necklace, Green Aventurine & Peace-Clasp Pendant

Half mountain, half water — Kynam agarwood and ice-clear green aventurine, gathered around a carved peace-clasp disc as the quiet centre of an old Chinese idea.

This necklace belongs to a particular tradition of Chinese personal adornment — one that is not about colour coordination or matched materials, but about the idea that the objects we carry should carry something back. The peace clasp at its centre — a large flat disc of translucent green aventurine with a round opening at its heart — is one of the oldest auspicious forms in Chinese ornamental culture. To wear one is a quiet act of intention.

The peace-clasp disc is for the centre. Substantial and luminous, its green is cool and clear — not uniform, but drifting between pale jade-green and a deeper emerald tone depending on the light that falls through it. The surface is polished to high gloss, and the inner marbling of the stone is visible where the light enters at an angle.
