Kynam Agarwood Necklace, Jade, South Red Agate & Lotus Pendant
For the neck that carries both depth and ceremony — Kynam agarwood, vivid green jade, South Red Agate, and a large lotus pendant with carved pixiu charms swinging beneath it.
This necklace is built to make an impression without announcing itself. It wears long, falling below the collarbone, and it is asymmetric by design: one side of the strand is strung with small dark Kynam agarwood rounds, dense and matte; the other runs green — a continuous arc of bright jade beads, vivid and luminous, separated by small spacers. The two halves meet at the pendant, where everything converges.
At the junction, a cluster of South Red Agate beads appears — a deliberate flare of deep orange-red that bridges the wood and the jade, and signals that what hangs below is worth attention. The pendant itself is a large lotus flower, its petals textured and layered, centered with a glowing South Red Agate bead. Below the flower, a small carved pixiu charm swings on a chain, paired with a green jade drop and a faceted crystal — three small motions that move with the wearer.
The Kynam agarwood is for depth. The small, even rounds carry the quiet weight of the piece — their grain visible, their color warm brown shot through with darker resin marks. At body temperature, Kynam exhales a faint cool-sweet fragrance: clean and floral, a private note at the neckline. It is the ground tone from which everything else lifts.
The jade is for vitality. The bright green strand running opposite the agarwood is the piece's visual energy — fresh, saturated, impossible to miss. In traditional aesthetics, jade carries associations with clarity and flourishing. Here, the color does the work: it makes the warm tones of the wood and stone burn brighter by contrast.
The South Red Agate is for ceremony. Where jade brings freshness and agarwood brings depth, the South Red beads at the front bring warmth and weight. Their deep persimmon-red ties the two halves of the necklace together visually. They are the color that makes the whole piece feel finished — and intentional.
The lotus pendant is for scale. The pendant is large and architectural, its petals layered and detailed. The lotus is a symbol that has moved across Chinese, Buddhist, and pan-Asian traditions for millennia — growth, purity, something beautiful emerging from difficult conditions. The pixiu charm beneath adds movement and meaning: in Chinese tradition, the pixiu is a guardian creature associated with attraction and preservation of fortune.
The necklace weighs approximately 32 grams — present on the body, never cumbersome. It suits a plain knit or a shirt collar equally well. Wear it when the occasion calls for something with presence.

About Agarwood
Agarwood forms when an aquilaria tree responds to injury by producing a dense, resin-saturated heartwood. The rarer the resin, the deeper the fragrance.
Kynam is the highest grade — soft, oily, complex. Its scent shifts from sweet to floral to woody throughout the day.
