The strand is long enough to wrap twice around the wrist, creating two close circuits of warm brown wood with jade appearing at intervals — a cluster of color, then more wood, then another. Laid flat it reads as a long mala; worn doubled it reads as a layered bracelet. The same piece, two different silhouettes depending on how you choose to carry it that day.

The Kynam agarwood is for the warmth that runs the full length. The beads are 6 mm round, in a warm amber-brown with visible grain markings — oil lines and fiber patterns that make each bead subtly distinct from its neighbors. Not uniformly smooth, not polished to sameness. The agarwood carries its fragrance throughout the day in a low, steady register: the characteristic Kynam warmth, present against the skin without announcing itself to the room.

The jadeite is for the color that arrives unexpectedly. At intervals along the strand, clusters of jadeite beads appear in four varieties — each piece carries one: vivid A-grade green with the intensity that only high-clarity jadeite produces; pale celadon with a quiet, chalky translucence; water-clear green so delicate it almost disappears; or smoky purple-grey, cool and unusual against the warm wood. Each cluster reads as a considered pause in the strand rather than an interruption of it.

Each piece varies in which jadeite variety it carries. The bracelet you receive will be one of the four — vivid green, celadon, water-clear, or smoky purple — each with its own reading against the agarwood. The wood is consistent across all; the stone is the variable that makes each piece individual.
