Agarwood Incense Seal Gift Box, Year of the Horse, 15 Pieces
For the desk or quiet room at the turn of the year — fifteen single-burn incense seals, each laid out in the shape of a galloping horse, packed in a vermilion gift box.
This is a seasonal gift set made for the lunar new year, when the zodiac turns to the Horse. Each piece is an incense seal: a small sealed case in which the incense powder has been carefully arranged in the form of a horse, ready to light at one end and watch travel slowly along its own line.
The format borrows from yin xiang, the classical Chinese practice of laying incense powder into a stencilled shape and lighting it as a single continuous path. Here, the shape has been prepared for you. You simply lift the lid, touch a flame to the marked end, and let the horse run.
The fragrance is agarwood — warm and clean, the quiet resinous character of the wood that suits the slow stencil burn. The smoke is thin, the burn slow and even, the small case keeping the powder contained so there is no scattering and no mess.
The outer box is finished in deep vermilion with a cloud motif at the base, branded as a 'Xiang Li' incense gift presentation. Inside, the fifteen pieces sit in a grey foam tray, each in its own compartment. The presentation is made to be given — to a colleague, a host, a parent, anyone who appreciates the small rituals of the season.
Burn one on a heat-resistant surface. Watch the line move. The whole thing is, on purpose, a kind of seasonal patience exercise.

About Agarwood
Agarwood forms when an aquilaria tree responds to injury by producing a dense, resin-saturated heartwood. The rarer the resin, the deeper the fragrance.
Kynam is the highest grade — soft, oily, complex. Its scent shifts from sweet to floral to woody throughout the day.
